WESTFIELD - MOTHER’S DAY

Against a backdrop of Mother’s Day noise that presents an airbrushed, idealised vision of Motherhood - and one that only adds to the pressure of parenting perfectionism, we decided to celebrate all the real ways Mums show their love.

We chose the ultimate medium of devotion - the power ballad - to put our mums front and centre and let them belt out their committed, dedicated and sometimes imperfect, love for their children in a majestic take on 80’s music videos - complete with ABBA-style floating heads, dramatic cross-fades and green-screen chroma in a nostalgic trip into true maternal insight.
